Frequently Asked Questions

    • What age groups do you cater to for music classes?

We welcome learners of all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are designed to be engaging and appropriate for each age group.

    • Are your classes available online?

Yes, we offer both online and physical classes to accommodate different preferences and needs.

    • Can I book individual sessions?

Absolutely! We offer personalized one-on-one sessions tailored to individual learning goals.

    • How can I customize my learning experience?

We work with you to create a customized curriculum that aligns with your interests and objectives in music education.

    • Do I need an instrument?

Yes, you do. Even though you can start learning music without an instrument, as you progress in your musical journey, you will need access to the instrument to improve your technique and increase your skills. At the Integrated Music Academy we are working on developing a rent-an-instrument programme to facilitate those who do not have access to their preferred instrument.

    • Do you have student concerts?

Yes we do! It is not mandatory, but students are encouraged to participate in our performance events. At the moment, we only have one concert that is scheduled as an end-of-year performance. This is a vital opportunity for students to become comfortable performing in front of their friends and family, learn coping strategies for dealing with performance anxiety and maximize on exploring their musical journey.

    • What is your payment schedule?

Tuition is billed every month, at a standard fee, regardless of attendance. We also offer an option to pay in advance, that is every quarter, if it is more convenient.

    • Do you accept online bank transfers?

Yes, we do. We accept payment from JMMB, RBL, RBC, FCB and Scotiabank. We also accept WIPAY for our international students.

    • What happens if I cannot attend class?

As a flexible music academy, alternative arrangements can be made so that students can easily learn, however the teacher needs an advance notice of a minimum of 1 hour that a student is unable to attend class.

With respect to physical classes, if the student encounters flooding, extreme traffic, illness, death in their family, work related obligation, school required activity, religious required activity or force majeure, the music class will be cancelled for that day. The student may receive their lesson online, via the discretion of the teacher. If the student cannot attend a virtual class, a pre-recorded session will be sent to the student for them to view at their convenience.

    • What happens if I am late to class?

The teacher requires notice of a studentโ€™s late arrival. Depending on the situation and at the teacherโ€™s discretion, class time can be shifted to accommodate student. If 20 minutes of class time elapses without notification, class will be cancelled.
